About Us

 

Manija Boards is an Argentine longboard manufacturing company based in La Plata, Buenos Aires Province. We've been designing and crafting longboard decks for dancing, freestyle, and freeride for over 10 years. We also run a skateshop in La Plata stocked with gear for longboard, skateboard, surfskate, roller skating, snowboard, and surf—alongside our longboard school, an international event, and board trips.

We are a benchmark for longboard dancing across Latin America. But before anything else, we are riders: we test every single board on the streets before putting it up for sale.

The Decks

We handcraft every board in our workshop in La Plata. We build with guatambú (a native Argentine hardwood), bamboo, and Canadian hard rock maple, laminated with fiberglass and epoxy resin. Our shapes are specifically engineered for longboard dancing and freestyle: plenty of room to cross-step, flex that delivers energy return, and functional kicks for pop and tricks.

Our line-up: Tango 47", Portal Pocket 43", Pro Model Manu V2, Pro Model Bruno Ledesma, Génesis, and Downhill. We also build custom setups.

For riders taking their first steps, we designed the ProModel Custom Complete Longboard: 40" length, 180 mm trucks, and 65 mm 80A Manija Surferas wheels. It’s dialed to learn dancing, freestyle, freeride, and cruising all on a single board.

We ship across the Americas. Our decks are also available in Europe through True Supplies.

Every product in the shop is handpicked and tested by our team.

We created and organize Dancing Shoes, the benchmark longboard dancing and freestyle championship in Latin America, bringing together riders from across the entire continent.
